IMMEDIATE RATES FREEZE – by finding efficiencies without cutting services. Hold them accountable by benchmarking against other councils. Current $250M budget & 850 staff is not sustainable.
IMPROVE CUSTOMER SERVICE – halt Council’s empire building, & lift underperforming core council services to meet Residents needs.
CLEANER, SAFER STREETS – free of antisocial behaviours, street campers & drugs. Make it safe to walk our streets again & rebuild our neglected retail zones.
PROTECT CAR PARKING – ensure road upgrades & bicycle lanes do not come at the expense of safety to road users, residents & businesses.
